The pipe and connectors run in 304 stainless steel for resistance to acid, alkali, salt and rust. Over the metal, a nickel layer provides adhesion and resists corrosion, while the outer chromium layer protects against scratches.   • Spike base widths measure 1.29 inches or 1.37 inches across the strips.
